Polyurethane Resin Modifier and Anti Graffiti Additives

Wyncoat® Reactive Silicone Additives are organic modified polydimethyl-siloxane terminated with carbinol. In a variety of polyurethane systems, hydroxylmethyl can be cross-linked with NCO, so that introduction of silicone into resin system can provide anti-graffiti and easy-cleaning properties.

1 ) Polyether Siloxane Copolymer:
Formulated with reactive groups such as -CH₂OH, our Wyncoat® Silicone Additive is a high-performance polyether siloxane copolymer. It optimizes coating leveling as a key functional additive, and can chemically bond with organic resins via copolymerization. This unique structural modification delivers better softness, lubricity and hydrophobicity to resins. Meanwhile, it provides long-lasting coating stability with no silicone bleeding or migration.

2 ) SL-75 Series (No polyether modification):

Formulated with carbon hydroxyl terminated groups, this high-purity polydimethylsiloxane can partially replace polyols for copolymerization. It successfully incorporates silicone elements into resin systems, granting polyurethane coatings premium smoothness and long-lasting anti-graffiti traits.

Deep silicone modification at the front end of PU resin synthesis brings prominent advantages including exceptional slip feel, gentle softness, powerful hydrophobicity, anti-adhesion and durable wear resistance.

3 ) SL-474X Series (Double ended dicarbinol silicone fluid)

Carbinol moieties can embed into the polymer network and orientate on the resin surface. The rising polymerization degree of mid-chain PDMS effectively upgrades hydrophobic and antifouling characteristics, delivering outstanding water-repellent effects. In addition, it greatly facilitates dust removal and improves the easy-to-clean performance of resin surfaces.

4 ) SL-4710 Series (Single end type with one CH2OH functional group)


Formulated with terminal -CH₂OH groups, this high-purity modified polydimethylsiloxane can partially participate in NCO reactions as a polyol substitute. It efficiently integrates silicone modules into polyurethane resin systems, creating a silky surface feel and reliable anti-graffiti capability. 

High silicone modification in the PU resin synthesis stage brings powerful slipping performance, mild softness, excellent water repellency, anti-adhesion and long-term wear resistance.

5 )SL-4720 Series (Single-end type with diol functional groups)
 

With reactive -CH₂OH functionality, it can be firmly crosslinked into the polymer network and form a surface-oriented silicone layer on resins. The extended molecular chain of mid-section PDMS greatly enhances water repellency and anti-fouling effects. Meanwhile, it remarkably optimizes surface stain release and easy-cleaning performance.
