Product Description:

WynCoat® SE-4482 is composed of specially modified silicone elastomer emulsions. It delivers exceptional wear resistance and a long-lasting, superior touch, making it an outstanding feel agent. This versatile product can be used alone or blended with other leather additives like polyacrylate varnish or polyurethane varnish to achieve unique effects. An effective additive for both water-based and solvent-based coating systems, WynCoat® SE-4482 provides outstanding slip, mar resistance, gloss, antiblocking, and release properties. Notably, tin-based catalysts are not used in its manufacture.

Application and Uses:
WynCoat® SE-4482 is used as an additive in water as well as solvent-based systems for paint and inks and coatings formulations to provide slip, mar resistance, reduction of coefficient of friction, gloss, anti-blocking and release properties. WynCoat® SE-4482 is particularly effective in solvent-based coatings, especially for leather top coats.

Depending of the application, the recommended addition amount is 0.5%-3%, or directly used on the surface of the product, the specific use method and addition amount can be adjusted according to your product system. Prior to use, the product can be added as supplied or pre-diluted with water or the typical solvent used in any solvent-based coatings. The properties and app licationmethods of the products described in this description are for reference only, and strict feasibility tests must be performed for new products.

Package and storage stability:
Available in 20 kg pail and 200 kg drums
When stored between 10 and 35°C in the original unopened container, WynCoat® SE-4482 has a shelf life of 6 months from the date of manufacture.
