Polyurethane Foam (PU for short), covering flexible foam and rigid foam, is a one of the main business industries for Hangzhou TOPWIN.

Conventional flexible PU foam is made of isocyanate and polyether as raw material, adding many chemical auxiliary agents (such as blowing agent、catalyst、silicone surfactant、water), mixing by professional equipments.

Our silicone surfactant is a non-hydrolyzable polysiloxane copolymer. Most of our products for PU foam industry is polyether modified silicone which is essential during the whole foaming process. Silicone surfactant act as foam stabilizer and take important role in control cell structure and uniformity.

In flexible foam:

1.Lower surface tension is good to promote the emulsion of material.

2.Provide superior nucleating efficiency.

3.Impact stability with good breathability, prevent broken and postpone the opening of foam.

4.Control open-cell of foam .

The above four functions will affect final properties, such as density, breathability, density latitude, strength, viscosity, etc.
