Siemtcoat® SF180MR
A Solventless Silicone Release Coating for High Speed Coating Machine
SF180MR is a special design for paper substrate, such as Glassine PEK, CCK ,etc. It’s a high-speed and low misting product, coating speed is significantly improved, suitable for 5 or 6 rolls coating.
Recommended Formula
A three components
Siemtcoat® SF180MR (Base Polymer)
Siemtcoat® 8982 (Crosslinker)
Siemtcoat® 5000 (Catalyst)
The dosage of different component should be adjusted base on different process condition and application. After mixed components even, the coating on the substrate surface to curing and achieved the target release profile.
Advantages :
Low misting with high speed
Fast curing with good curing property, such as low silicone migration
Flatter release profile at different peeling speed
Long bath life
Good anchorage performance
Suitable for in-line and off-line coating
Applications :
Self-adhesive labels
Release paper and tapes

Standard shelf-life for SF180MR is 24 months. The expired day is marked on label for each drum.
SF300 vs SF180MR
With the improvement of the coating efficiency by the market, should consider the low misting and physical properties more comprehensively. While the traditional SF300 silicone release coating is suitable for the coating speed below 350m/min. So the SF180MR will be a better choice. The below properties of SF300 vs SF180MR is for your reference.

The SF180MR high-speed coating offers significant advantages, notably enhancing the coating environment and greatly improving both human health and environmental friendliness. Additionally, the release paper and labels produced using SF180MR exhibit stable performance, high-speed application, and low peel properties, meeting the high-speed labeling demands of downstream customers.
