XH-2950 is equivalent to international products such as DC-5950, DC-5990, L-5702, L-5770, and B-8229.

Product Details

WynPUF® XH-2950 is a low to medium efficiency, non-hydrolyzable silicone surfactant specifically formulated for flexible polyether slabstock foam. It excels in providing enhanced flame-retardant properties compared to other silicone surfactants.

Levels of Use

• Recommended Use: WynPUF® XH-2950 is recommended for use in flexible slabstock foam applications with flame retardant requirements.
• Application Rate: The recommended use level is 1.0 parts per hundred polyol (pphp). This dosage is effective in achieving a Crib 5 rating in accordance with BS 5852 when used with appropriate flame retardants.

Application Process

1. Preparation: Ensure all materials and equipment are clean and ready for use.
2. Mixing: Add WynPUF® XH-2950 to the polyol component of the foam formulation at the recommended level of 1.0 pphp.
3. Flame Retardant Addition: Incorporate the appropriate flame retardants into the mix to meet specific fire safety standards.
4. Foaming: Proceed with the standard foaming process, ensuring thorough mixing and proper handling of all ingredients.

 Packaging and Storage

• Packaging: Available in 200 kg drums or 1000 kg Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC).
• Storage Conditions: Should be stored at room temperature in original, sealed containers.
• Shelf Life: Under recommended storage conditions, the shelf life is 24 months.
