TopWin Wyncoat ® SL-5863 Silicone Additive

SL-5863 Silicone surfactant is a surfactant of polysiloxane-polyether copolymer, it is a silicon-carbon bond, non-hydrolytic type copolymer.

In paper application SL-5863 is recommended as defoamer booster for mineral or silicone oil based pulp defoamers and as emulsifier and booster for paper mill defoamers based on fatty alcohols.

In textile application SL- 5863 is recommended as lubricant and wetting/ spreading agent in non-polar systems.

It is suitable for the treatment of fibers or fabrics applied by padding.

SL-5863 provides good sew ability and lubricity.

It can be used alone or in combination with other organo modified siloxanes or organic based surfactants.

It’s a non-ionic product with 100 % active content with high concentration.

It can improve efficiency during paper processing.

It can be used as an emulsifier for W/O.

Appearance：clear to slightly hazy pale yellow liquid

Cloud point 1%：35-45°C

Viscosity(25ºC)：1500-4000 cps

Dosage:

0.1-1 % SL-5863 is added to mineral oil based pulp mill defoamer.

0.2-2 % SL-5863 is added to silicone oil based pulp mill defoamer.

SL-5863 can be applied as single component from pre-formulated emulsions or in combination with other products. Dosage depends on the application and specific formulation in use, as well as on the required performance.

Available in 25 kg pail, 200 kg drums or 1000kg IBC.
