Different types of surfactants are inseparable from the processing of pesticide formulations. The addition of surfactants greatly reduces the surface tension of the solution, enhances the wetting, spreading and adhesion of the medicament on the body surface of plants or pests, thereby improving the efficacy of the medicine.
It can be widely used in the spray of pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, foliar fertilizers, plant growth regulators, trace elements and biological pesticides. To achieve the purpose of increasing efficiency, saving water, saving labor, saving drugs, reducing pesticide loss, and reducing pesticide residues. It is recommended to use a low-flow and high-pressure sprayer with fine nozzles for better savings.
Precautions:
It is not suitable to
add organic silicone when the medicine is in a high temperature environment or the leaf itself is relatively thin; it will cause the occurrence of phytotoxicity. The reason is that organic silicon will cause the cuticle of leaf epidermal cells to decompose; if the waxy layer is thick, it does not matter, but if it is used on crops with a thin waxy layer, it will cause the plant's water retention capacity to decrease, cell damage, and then appear Phytotoxicity. Another reason is that if some fungicides with better permeability are added to organic silicon, it will easily lead to overly violent effects; at the same time, contact herbicides are also the same. After adding organosilicon, you need to pay attention to the concentration. Do not increase the concentration of the drug at will.
Under normal circumstances, it is best to do a small area experiment; individual organophosphorus emulsifiable concentrates should be cautiously added with silicones, for example: phoxim emulsifiable concentrate itself has relatively strong permeability, and the use of large doses has its own phytotoxicity. Fungicides: azoxystrobin, kresoxim-methyl, pyraclostrobin, which have strong permeability and systemic properties and do not need to add agricultural silicones. All urea insecticide products need to be cautiously added with silicone additives, selective Herbicides need to be carefully added with organic silicon, and crop resistance to selective herbicides is also limited. Wild-life herbicides: glyphosate and glufosinate are more effective when added!
